Neirenn

After dropping Varden and Lei'ella off in Muirfold, Neirenn went straight back to Aydensfell to find her mother extremely unwell after an enduring illness. She immediately threw herself into working on using Raul's knowledge to discover a kind of healing magic that humans could use, but was unsuccessful in her initial attempt; her mother passed away quite suddenly after only a month.

Telling her superiors about all her aquired knowledge and memories from Raul, she managed to convince them to let her sit all of the next three years exams in the space of a month, passing all of them with high commendations. She went on to do her PhD in 'Elven Magic and its Mage Counterparts' in which she explored the defensive magic unique to the elves.

She later moved into a research position, while lecturing classes on elementals. Eventually, at age 47, she exposed Archmage Stonier's involvement in the kidnapping of Kayn'dar, resulting in his sacking and her subsequent promotion into his position.

Neirenn eventually discovered a new method of healing utilising a combination of elements at age 132. She never married or had children of her own, instead enjoying the company of the students in her classes.
