Kayn'dar & Shiara

After spending plenty of time together, Shiara realised that Kayn'dar was still (inside, at least) the same Acheron she had come to love. They eventually wedded as had been intended by the elders long ago, with no arguments about it on either side!

Kayn'dar made it his goal to convince the elders and the rest of the elves that the severed illness was a symptom of the arrogance of the race. With research, they gathered enough evidence about the parents of severed children being particularly bad examples of this, convincing several of the elders that they had a case.

All of the severed elves were welcomed back into Inverloch if they wished to be there, healed if they desired it, and eventually, over the course of several hundred years, the birth of severed children dropped down to almost zero.

Kayn'dar and Shiara had one child early in their lives, a little boy they called Acheron in honour of the da'kor who had been the catalyst for all of the events that helped change the elves for the better.
