Q: Was Acheron named after the river in Greek mythology?
A: Not directly. The name was chosen from a town in Queensland, Australia. It was possibly named after the river, but I had never heard of it at the time.
Q: I have a really great idea for a story, will you be the artist?
A: Sorry, but no. My own comic projects take up all of my time, and I wouldn't have the same interest in and dedication towards a story somebody else wrote.
Q: Do you do commissions?
A: Again, my comic takes up all of my spare time, so I can't work on art commissions.
Q: What do you use to create Inverloch?
A: Everything is created in Adobe Photoshop CS2 using a Wacom Intuos3 6x9 drawing tablet.
Q: I distrust Paypal. Can I donate in another way?
A: I trust Paypal and have never had any problems in the six or so years I've been with them. Unfortunately because I'm in Australia there are no other easy ways for you to donate money. You can always support me by purchasing the published version.
Q: Please tell me how to draw / how to start a comic / how to paint backgrounds?
A: There are dozens of tutorials and help topics on the internet already. I don't provide help directly, because there's nothing I can tell you that can't be found elsewhere.
Q: Can I translate Inverloch into my language?
A: You are free to translate if you like. Check the Extras - Translations page to see if the language is already being worked on, and if not, email me to let me know you're interested. You must host the pages on your own website, and I can and will NOT provide original files without text or speech bubbles. You must make do with the files on this site. Please note that I will remove links if I receive complaints about translation quality.
Q: Will (insert plot point here) happen in the story?
A: I don't answer any questions regarding the future of the story, that's called a spoiler :)
Q: I have a great idea for the story - you should do [blah blah]!
A: The story is completely written already, so I don't need anybody's help to continue it.
Q: Will you stay in touch with me and be my friend?
A: I'm a busy person, and I don't have time to 'stay in touch' with all the hundreds of people that ask it of me. I wouldn't have time to get the comic done for you!
Q: Fw: You must try this it really works!
A: Please do not, under any circumstance, forward me chain mail. This includes virus warnings, 'free money' schemes, 'forward this on to ten people and you'll see something funny' type emails, petitions, etc. Please guys, don't be so gullible. Some of them have been circulating the internet for ten years and they DON'T WORK. They're junk that waste my time and yours.
Q: I run an MSN / Yahoo Paint Shop Pro Group, can we use your images to make signatures, tubes, animations, etc?
A: I'm sorry, but I no longer allow my art to be used for this purpose. It's too difficult to track the usage.
Q: [Insert name] has invited you to join [insert website / chat program]!
A: I do not give out my messenger details, nor do I join friend websites. I think some of these emails might just be from bots, but just in case...
